All Veterans Monument

This monument was erected in 2003 and is dedicated to every veteran who has or is serving in the United States military.  The monument was built and erected by Piqua Granite and Marble, Inc., Piqua, Ohio.  The numerous pictures that are etched on both sides of the monument depict some of the most historical battle scenes from all the wars of the last century. The panel at the top of the monument is the flag raising on Mt. Suribachi on Iwo Jima during WW II.

Morgan County Veterans MemorialThe etchings were done by artists, Loren and Larry Bays of New Albany, Indiana.  The preparation and setting of the base for the monument was done by Jack Broyer Construction Co., Martinsville, Indiana  with local engineer, Bill Cure overseeing the structural integrity of the project.  Visit the photo gallery for detailed pictures.
