Establishing
the Morgan County Veterans Museum is a project that will be started in the
near future. Thanks to the generous gift from Mr. & Mrs. Warren McDaniel
and Mr. & Mrs. Bart Hahn, the building adjacent to the O’Neal Veterans
Memorial Park will house this next phase of Morgan County’s endeavor to
honor our military veterans. In 2002, the McDaniels and Hahns, purchased the
building and gave it to the Morgan County Library with the stipulation that
the Morgan County Veterans Memorial would have the use of one half of the
building for the establishment of a veterans museum. Updates will be given
when work on this phase is started.
